Ignatief deserved to lose. It is because of him that the "nation-within-a-nation" thing ever happened. Only he was foolish enough to wake the sleeping dog and cause Harper to respond defensively to protect the Conservatives, and thus propel us all once again into the insoluble tarpit of another Canadian Constitutional Crisis...and probably another damn Quebec referendum.
