I am off sick today and yesterday - not happened since 2003.

I am much better today, but getting fed up catching up on two years' unfiled household bills and realising how much the electricity bill has doubled this year and starting up a new folder called 'pensions'.

I've broken the shredder. Something for my Christmas list from my kids. I have 3 boys and they don't like buying anything that smells (nice) or has any pink on it. I know you have a son so you know the advantages - nobody pinches your flannel, comb, scissors etc etc if they are pink.

Are you having a Works do? In the office or out and about? I hear from other sources that my new boss blows up condoms at Christmas parties - many will find this quite distasteful (!). We shall see.

Do you sing and/or play at Folk Clubs? I am sorry if you have already mentioned that and I have forgotten.
