Ah.. that could explain a lot. I've not heard my tits sing.. it must be because I'm expecting the languid trilling they did when I lived in Dorset. Obviously with city life, my tits have speeded up to make themselves noticed.

Coal tits are no good at lighting fires because when they hold the matches in their little claws, because they're upside down, the flames burn their bums and they drop the match. The trick is to put your fire under the tits perch and they'll drop the lit match onto it.

Either that or you have damp tits.
