In the early 70s I moved in with some friends who had bought a house in Levenshulme, Manchester, a late Victorian terrace. While we were rewiring it, under the floorboards in the attic bedroom, we found some rather crude pencil sketches of young ladies in very voluminous underwear. It was probably some poor sod's nearest approach to pornography in those repressed times.
