Nonsense. Morrison was a canny poseur; saw a character to play and died doing it. Faux-menace and lyric idiocy and no proper bass player... a mediocre band that rode a good wave and have all been coasting since Morrison croaked. And that stupid noodling organ solo... no, that stuff was the fraudulent wing of sixties rock.
