Thread Name: BS: Donnie 'I'm a Drunk' Stories...
Subject: BS: Donnie 'I'm a Drunk' Stories...
Well, well, well...

Seems as if my little buddy, Donnie "I'm a Drunk" has aroused a little interest in the "Bobert's Christmas Story" thread and so I figured that maybe, Donnie "I'm a Drunk" deserved his own thread for the Christmas season...

... so I'm gonna us this thread to tell ya all about my little buddy (4'10" with boots on)...

Story 1:

It was 'bout 16 'er 18 months ago when the P-Vine and I first stayed up here in Pine Grove holler overnight in our new to us house on opur new to us 17 acre farm and, well, the house is just a tad under a quarter of a mile up a windin' dirt (gravel) drive way and completely isolated... I mean, from where we are we can't see anyone and no one can see us... All we see is this big ol' Blue Ridge mountain and woods...

So one would figure that given it's location that me and the P-Vine could reasonably expect to have our privacy, right???

Our first night was a Saturday night and I got up after a rather restless night on the blow-up air mattress we were usin' back then 'bout 7:00 in the am an' had jus brewed up a cup of coffe and walked outside to get a breath of that fine mountain air when...

"Hey, mister" came from the direction of the long driveway and there walkin' up to the house was a rough lookin', bearded, little man with an open beer in one hand and the remnants of a six-pack danglin' from the plastic holder thingie in the other...

"Hi, my name is Donnie," continued this little man as he walked toward me, "and I don't mind tellin' you that I'm a drunk..."

So that's how it all began as he explained that he used to work on the farm with the guy who had owned it beofe this guy's death and also offered to help us...

So much for being isolated???

End of Story 1...
