HeHeHe - Ken-doll, you'll be taking a bit of ribbing for the ear, I think. I know you've probably put you hand to your ear at some point to hear how flat you sound when you sing. Don't be offened if one of us asks you when you get back to warbbling if you'll kindly shove a finger down your throat so as not to be so sharp while singing, we all love that dull edge. If you're not up to singing in a weeks time, I got the cure, come to the shanty session with the gals next week & they can haul you around by the ear & you can fill in the parts that need those little yelps, you'll be like a reborn again Stan Hugill. I hope you're not laughing at all this you gotta take this stuff seriously, really. I can just see the veins popping ready to cus' me & all you can do is write me a note.
Well Cap', I'll be expecting to see in better shape than when I left you last, you hard a hard time walking never mind singing but I'm sure you were better in the morning. No, drinking that rot won't help the voice.
