Oh Scarpi - one of the heaviest burdens a parent has to bear is to watch a child's heart break and to be able to do little to help. I have friends who lost a daughter to leukeamia when she was nine and it just seems so unfair to see children suffer and die.

As has been said, the little girl will always be alive in the memory of those who knew her. There is a little boy who is now going through the loss of his sister and, possibly, his own ability to walk - it could be that your daughter might get some solace in helping that little one through what will be a difficult time for everyone involved.
