Have you extra buttons on your mouse?

I have a Micro$haft Intellimouse, which has 'forward' and 'back' buttons positioned just where I'll accidentally catch them with my thumb or ring finger...!

It's also possible you have a sticky key on your keyboard.

The only way to be sure is to try a different mouse and/or keyboard... if the problem persists, you know to look elsewhere.
