I would side with the "great big hound" theory.

It would make sense with the line " And play like Lightnin' sounds" wouldn'it?

And as far as the "every-day suit buttons" are concerned, couldn't they be "44 carats"

(even though I think 24 is the max you can have, put it on the account of poetic licence...)

What do y'all think o'that?
