Thread Name: Looking For Celtic Songs For Children
Subject: Looking For Celtic Songs For Children
These days I'm doing more Celtic festival gigs on the "children's stage" but the problem is that I only have enough songs for one set and I do hate to repeat sets even at a two-day festival. Below is a list of what I'm currently singing with hope that some of the catters can help me out by adding to it.

Yes, I have been all over the internet and kids stuff is just about everywhere - it's the narrowing to the Celtic genre that is making it so difficult. My current line-up of kids songs contains Celtic songs and songs that are not necessarily Celtic, but are accepted as part of the Celtic "community" - at least in Texas. I would also be interested in your opinion as to what "regular" adult Celtic songs would go over well from a children's stage.

Here's what I'm currently doing:
St. Brendan's Fair Isle
St. Patrick Was A Gentleman
A Place In The Choir
The Garden Song
The Cat Came Back
The Unicorn Song
Waltzing With Bears
The Orange And The Green
The Old Carrion Crow
Leatherwing Bat

As I wrote - to the above I add some non-Celtic songs that go over well, but I'd rather be able to do two or three sets of Celtic kids stuff without repeating. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
