It should be remembered that the article we are discussing here appeared in the Daily Mail, a newspaper for those who like to moan about things, so at best it is probably exaggerated.

I looked at a copy of this journal the other day and once you got pass the news bit there was a gripe on every page, these people should go and live in the 1940's, they might be happy there, (but I don't expect that would be good enough either)

I come from north of the Thames so Kent was always a foreign country, big deal.
