Watching Mythbusters the other night and they were checking to see if tiny quantities of feces ended up on our toothbrushes that sit in the cups or holders in our bathrooms.

Turns out they do. The presence of coliform bacteria (bacteria found in human and animal waste) was found on all toothbrushes tested. Even the test group which was kept covered over in another room. Turns out this stuff is pretty ubiquitous and unavoidable any where we live.
