I can't see the problem with the photo--it's a jumble of lights. You should have used some fill flash in that photo.

An anatomically correct snowman has been done before. Jem in To Kill a Mockingbird did a caracature of a neighbor he'd seen peeing off of the front porch. It was recognizable enough that Atticus made him alter it lest he be sued.
