I noticed in Joe Hickerson's "Songfinder" column in Sing Out! Magazine, that he includes URLs for the Traditional Ballad Index at tinyurl.com, instead of at the site's location at the California State University at Fresno.
So, I checked out tinyurl.com today, and I see it's a site that somehow converts lengthy URLs to short ones.
So, how's it work?
