I've listened to Keillors show almost since the beginning and he hasn't changed it much. It is not a real tight, over rehearsed show. It is meant to be in the pattern of old time radio shows. All the folks on that night had been on before, Emmylou goes way back with PHC so they were familiar with the work he works, the way the show works. Every performer has a bad night now and then, they are just humans after all. Em looked like she has had some facial work done. Alice, singing nasally is what she does, it's how she has made herself what she is.
