I would agree. The article underlines the great seriousness with which Jack has applied himself to his work.

It remains one of the most baffling mysteries to me why this man of immense talent and achievemwnt is excluded from all folk programmes, all festival bills in the UK.

this is the flip side of tolerating the sheer crapness and crassness of the view that folk music is about some sort of spurious tradition - rather than what the people of our nation get up to in folk clubs. sheer middle class bloody snobbery and exclusivity.

Still they say Van Gogh couldn't sell a picture in his lifetime. One day the world will be kicking itself for having missed out on the truly great Jack Hudson.
