Subject: RE: BS: How do you get to sleep & stay that way?
LOL...thanks for the *light relief*.

Pat/Partridge, you and me both!

Ambien had absolutely no effect on me. I still have a left over bottle of it. I am going to ask my doctor if there is a time-released version of Lunesta, as I was amazed to find I went to sleep without even being aware of drifting off. Only thing was, I woke up two hours later. I am also going to ask him how to wean off the muscle relaxant as I don't think it is really doing anything except maybe helping me get to sleep although still in a toss and turn manner.

My bed and pillows are comfy, room cool, fresh air and warm shower before bedtime. The only other thing I can think of that may need changing and I am resisting is a nighttime phone visit with a best friend from Mudcat; someone who hasn't been on here in about four years. She and I have bonded so strongly and share everything about our day and our plans for the next day. It isn't an every night thing, but I am wondering if I need to make that call earlier in the evening. It isn't that it upsets me in anyway, rather is very validating and helpful for both of us, but I am wondering if it is stimulating my mind too much. But, then I think it might be more the stress of adult children and How Their Lives Turn, finances, etc., etc.!**bg** If I could get Rog to take a freakin' vacation I think it would help!

Susan, Morgan does his best, but he is only three.:-) He was so sweet this morning. Came over early in his jammies still. I was in bed, so he crawled in. I got up a few minutes later and started to get dressed. He saw that I was still tired and out of sorts, so said to me, "Momma, sit down and relax with me." Outta the mouths o'babes.... (He calls his mom, "mom.")

Thanks, again,

kat
