Well, this winter is an odd one in Juneau, Alaska. Because of el Nino it was supposedly going to be a warm rainy one- instead, starting on November 1 (I think. It may have been a couple of days later) we've had lots and lots of snow. I don't know what the total figure is at this point but it must be around 100 inches. Several snow storms back we had already had 89 inches .

And it is snowing. This time it is heavy and wet instead of light and powdery- great for snowmen and sledding.
