I are not a poet. I think that I've written a grand total of three poems in my life: two in high school under duress, and this one, after my Mother's death:

Love Is Not Like A Bicycle

Love is not like a bicycle
You can't sit on it, or ride it
It is not of the physical world

Love may be expressed through words
But words are not love
Actions speak louder than words
But actions are not love
Love is not limited by time or space
Love is omnipresent
God is love
In loving, we touch divinity

On Friday, October 13th, Mom died
But her love did not die
Neither did our love for her die

True love remains
