Just got her name straight today - a 12-year-old singing phenomenon from Quebec, she belts out old jazz, Broadway & R&B standards. Some of you might have heard on "C'est la Vie" (CBC radio) last Saturday. Despite her blunt assertions that she has no interest in recording in French, French Quebeckers have apparently taken her into their hearts, and she has been swept up by the Quebecois star-making machine. A remarkable talent, she is being called, of course, "the next Celine Dion".
