Was a time I would begin to despair when the thread would slide off the page. I had my moments of doubt about the future. Now I don't worry. There are enough of us now to keep it from staying down for too long. I might even be willing to be a little Shamble-istic if I thought it was needed. Up to now I haven't liked to bring a thread (any thread) back up if I was the last one to post but right now am thinking I will no longer allow that to prevent me. The thread is more important than my pride. So what if poeple think I am sad little person with no friends and nothing better to do than reply to himself. I know I could have friends if I wanted to, I just don't want to, that's all. I'm pretty busy anyway, I'm only up to 1999 in my quest to read every word of every thread that has ever been on the Mudcat. It's fascinating really, so many folks with so many thoughts. None of them are about me but I don't mind. I matter, I'm a valuable person and some day the world will see that. There will come a time when the world will not just pass me by like so much refuse to be put on the curb for the trashman to take away. Then you will all be sorry you treated me this way. Can't stay any longer just now, I have to go lance my boil.
