Leaving aside the Gaelic tradition, there a huge number of very talented a very underrated performers in Scotland. I've mentioned a few already but what about folk like Peter Nardini, or Simon thingy the concertina player.
Ive crossed swords online with Big "Edna" and tho' she's no friend of Rabbie's, she could out party any of these dead beats.
I think there's a folk "mafia" at work. the capo's are on view every New Year and the spies are everywhere
