Given anything extraordinarily interesting to do, I'll go to bed when I'm good and ready whether it's 3:00 or whenever. As a rule though in recent years I go to bed about 12:00 and get up anywhere from 6:30 to 8:00. In the summertime I am usually up before 6. An Alaska summer dawn breaks at about 3:00 although the sky never does get fully dark until August sometime. The local native people used to call August "the month the stars return".
I go to sleep quickly and sleep well. And I usually take a nap in my chair in the evening, although, again, if something interesting is going on I'm fine.
My guess is that I have trained myself to just let go and sleep. I'm probably normally asleep within five minutes.
