BWL...That's an intelligent way of putting it, and it's what got me out of standard to G to banjo and beyond, so many years ago. The "51" & "13" intervals are there in your examples too (obviously) and make nice convenient double-stops (dyads) under the fingers.

Funny, it was slide that got me started down that road.
