As a parish council member in a couple of Catholic parishes, I've campaigned against Wednesday Night Bingo. The old ladies who play bingo at church are NOT nice people. They have a mean and greedy look in their eyes, and a scowl on their faces. I would not want to meet one of these ladies in a dark alley.
The Old Guys of the Knights of Columbus run the Wednesday Night Bingo. Maybe they think the old bingo ladies are cute.
