I don't wish to hijack the thread, but is there anything one can do to limit the noise when practicing a penny whistle (flageolet, etc.)? I suspect the answer is no, as far as doing anything to the whistle itself is concerned - I guess stuffing anything inside it wouldn't work, unless anyone knows different?
