Poor Tom. He supports a god who believes in torture, and not just Saddam Hussein type torture that lasts a few months then you die, but goes on forever- AND HE THINKS THIS IS MORAL. No, if such a god exists, people are more moral than god. I don't believe that and I'm surprised that Tom should want me to believe that. In fact, I don't believe he does, when he examines the consequences of his beliefs. But if he does, in full knowledge of the implications (which he has now), he's worse than a moral leper.

If such a god exists, it is exactly the same as Satan (come to think of it, who created Satan? Knowing EXACTLY what Satan was going to do?)

If you believe such a god exists, you are morally obliged to oppose such a being. If you don't oppose it, you no better than those who support any other tyrant, criminal, torturer, murderer, or parker-on-double-yellow-lines.
