If the politicians and a section of the population (a very large section of the population, including people world-wide), do not support the U.S. presence in Iraq - they shouldn't be there.

Most of the world would look at it as a victory for the people of the U.S. In fact, I believe the world believes that it is only the people of the U.S. that can stop this madness.
