You are definately not being unreasonable. It's against the law to smoke in the workplace, public buildings, bars or whatever here in New Brunswick (Canada).

I'm a smoker myself and I respect the rights of non-smokers, and these laws. I don't smoke inside my house (out on my back garden is my designated smoking area) and I don't smoke in my car.
