Get and see a doctor immediatley and get them to get you to a consultatant if it doesmn't heal in the next couple of weeks.   I am being put off work this week with voice dysphonia and haven't been able to sing since August. For someone who is a teacher, singer and storyteller, voice dysphonia can be serious as it can lead to corruption of the vocal chords. The therapist I am working with said anyone who is a 'professional voice user' should be in to see her within 3 weeks if their voice is still bad, so.. take it from the horses mouth.
