Perhaps your finding human-based protein to be of inferior status is more a matter of the manner in which you seek to procure said protein than in the actual nature of the protein itself. It is very inadvisable to attempt to procure human protein by sneaking up behind the human, shouting "Boo!", and chomping down on the human. Ninety-nine times out of a hundred that will leave you with nothing but a mouthful of the human's own pre-digested last meal and, perhaps, a pair of tennis shoes.
