Thread Name: A bseed sighting !
Subject: RE: A bseed sighting !
Geez, I had to refresh three days worth of threads to find this thing. Swanno told me about it this afternoon--he and Swanna hosted another nonpariel song circle/pizza feed--and I would have used his 'puter to check it out, but now his is sick (maybe he caught the virus from me at Ajanta, the Indian restaurant he mentioned, and carried it home to his window on the Mudcat world).

Anyway, I haven't been totallyabsolutely out of touch: I logged on several times at school, read my mail, sent a couple of eMails, dumped a ton of eMail from Harptalk (I couldn't cancel without being on my own computer), listened to Bonnie play the banjo, etc. I've been back on line for a couple of days, posting here and there, not up to speed by a long ways.

Bonnie, I loved your tunes: Rick must be one hell of a teacher and/or you are a hell of a student. And thanks for the song.

And Pat, I was really moved by your participation in the thread about the baby drop-off boxes (Perverse as I am, as I started reading that thread the image of the "Brain Depository" in Young Frankenstein: Igor reaches through the dog-door type of opening over the brain receiving box in the door to the depository to open the door so he can steal the brain of Hans Delbruck, poet and humanitarian, for Dr. F to install in the monster's head.) But it was a fascinating thread and you proved that while your brain may run on half a watt, your heart is big as all outdoors. But stop tryin' to come between me and my niece, bird dog.

Funny how much "Guest of a Guest" sounds--and spells--like an old friend.

It's good to be back, but I have massive piles of work to do so I've gotta restrict my time here a bit--now should I be a good little Muddie and devote my severely limited time solely to music threads? Nah.
