A "getaway"?

Well, it's a folk music camp. Washington, DC, has its Getaway in October/November and invites Mudcatters. The San Francisco Folk Music Club has its Camp Harmony the week after Christmas - several Mudcatters attend, although we haven't got enough Mudcatter interest (yet) to make it into a West Coast Mudcatter gathering. Seattle has its Rainy Camp, and also a Sunny Camp during the three days every year that they have sun....

These are different from Folk Festivals because these camps have a certain egalitarian quality to them - at thse camps, everybody is a musician, and all come together to share their music.
