he was knowledgable about almost anything!
that alone impressed me about BP...
imagine BP discussing the gas shortage ...or what we called the first "Energy Crisis" in our country,back in the 70's to the anchorman of our tv news station in Charlotte,N.C..
"well Doug, it's a fossil fuel and we can't expect it to last forever without a Conservation Program!"
wow! could have knocked me over with a feather!
here was a guy ,whose roots go way back to the hills of Junior Johnson country in North Carolina,and speaking like a college professor about saving energy, especially the fossil fuel!
