Start with a song/sound you know well, that you think NEEDS the kazoo.

Do you know how to play a paper towel tube? We called it the "Doot-Doot".

You can start like this: Put the kazoo to your mouth, with your hand around it next to your lips and go: "do, doo da: do, doo da: do, doo da: do, doo da." and keep making noise 'til it feels good.
