I called today to say I had decided not to continue working there. I said I was not happy with how I had been treated, that I had in fact made my numbers when it was suggested I leave and I felt my complaint about the smoking issue prompted the second interview. Lots of back peddling. "I was just concerned that you were comfortable and happy. You can come back today if you want." He knows I intend to take this further.

I hate confrontations. It stems from childhood and a Catholic education. Why can't we all make nice?
