Aren't bricks wonderful little things?

The trellis on the wall of my house has been trying to escape in the wind, but the clematis won't let it. So what do you use to weight down the end of the to stop it waving about everywhere? bricks!

It's like the old days when you used one of your stockings as a temporary fanbelt.

Mind you - I will have done it all wrong in somebody's book - either killed the clematis or bent the trellis.
