Can't say about their uke-guitar Don but my uke is a mahalo & I've found it to be a good-enough affordable entry level instrument
(Hell I've even become quite attached to the little bugger)
If "good-enough affordable entry level" sounds as though it meets your requirements I would say "go for it" otherwise leave alone.
