Hello folks - I've just been talking to Eric via e-mail and invited him to the Grove Folk Club in Leeds Yorkshire on Friday eve "ST Paddy's day, anyone else who would like to come along are welcome. The Guest at the club will be Bearnard Davie, an excelent local Irish singer who has a marvolous voice, and there will be floor spots for those who would like to sing. Bearnard and his band do everything from traditional to more modern Pogues type stuff, I will sing a song I wrote a man called Anthony Kelly who died tragically exactly 11 years ago today. I have friends comming down from Scotland and there is also a little diddly diddly session goes on simultaniously in a side room in the same pub for people who would enjoy that. The address of the pub is The Grove - Back Row - Holbeck - Leeds. It is 5 mins walk from the Railway Station - past the Hilton Hotel - over the canal bridge - passed the big Halifax building and the pub is nestled between the Halifax and another large building which has just been built. Happy ST Paddies Day everyone - jimmy
