Just to try and explain something ... the categories labelled "non-commercial" are so we don't end up voting for people who are on the radio every week (no names ...).

This is because these are ALTERNATIVE awards. Up and coming bands, down and out bands, any old bunch of drunken gits ... you can nominate what you choose. And in any category you like (I won't be nominating Ashwell Mummers as the best band though).
