The lead singer on that number is Bill Kirchen, probably the most under-appreciated performer in this type of music today. In the last 15 years he made some of the best records around, the songs going from Rockabilly to Western Swing to straight Country to Blues and back to Honky Tonk. Fine singer and one of the greatest Fender-slingers ever.
