I would add to Micca's comment by saying burn some incense throughout the new home - lavender for cleansing out old energy, sandalwood for protection. Or if you don't like incense, rub wooden surfaces with lavender oil or sandalwood oil for a similar effect. When I move into a new home, I rub lavender oil through the kitchen cupboards and across the front and back doorways - it keeps insects away!

Buy new sheets for the bed and a beautiful new bedspread with the colours of your love in it!
