I'm responsible for floating the notion that Mts of Mourne is "sappy", and I agree it is a funny song. The sappiness I was referring to is really the last refrain, I guess. And the original assertion was that it is one of the sappy songs that I love. (Kendall was disqualifying sappiness from folk music, but I think he had a different branch of sappiness in mind. It's a pretty loose adjective ... probably should be kept strapped down. :>)) ) ) BTW, as one who has never thanked you for your long labors but has benefited from their results, thank you for all the sweat that has gone into the DT.
