Yahoo is really a complex conglomerate of search engine, email, instant messenger, discussion forums...etc...all fueled by ad revenue and hosting some other stuff. I see some interesting things they offer, but I have found 'almost' everything they offer for free somewhere else, and without jumping thru the hoops they often require.
