Mike, I am with you 100% on the need to keep station management informed.

Where you are loosing me is on what you are trying to say about how and why the change was made. In one message you say it was an "unthinking" decision but your last post seems to indicate that there was more to the decision.

That is the point I am trying to make. It is not an easy decision. Washington deserves both Mary and Nick, but can WAMU afford them along with Garrison and Click & Clack? I don't think either one of us is in a position to answer that, and all I am trying to say is that we need to consider the question. There are financial issues at play here.
