Yes,Liz my angel, you are indeed an old cynic. Sappiest for me would have to be that old Jack Jones thing... I forget the title but has the lines " Hey, little girl, wear something pretty, something you'd wear to go to the city" which exhorts that " wives should always be lovers too". Makes me want to vomit, which is what any self respecting baby would do on the frock the stupid mare has put on following Mr J's advice!
