Someone wrote to the newspaper asking the question why Nic had only recorded one album.

The response was basically that there is only one album (Penguin Eggs) currently available through commercial outlets, but there are eight in existence.

His horrific injuries after the accident when returning home from Glossop Folk Club were mentioned, along with his unique playing style that so many have since mimicked.

It was quite a long and interesting response - a pity we don't see more such!
