Sod the Daily Mail...
Quite independently, I was waiting to meet someone off a train at Kings Cross station at 11 o'clock this morning,...suddenly get a tap on the Shoulder...Nic and Julia heading back home to York after a swanky night in a Hotel.
Even got to hold his award (Oo-Er Missus....Carry On moment there)
He seemed very chipper. Apparently, Ms Rusby who presented the award was more nervous.
From other people present, Nic got a standing ovation.
Jolly Good I say.
Julia said that they would put the award on their mantlepiece....If they had one!!!
As for the Daily Mail..
All publicity is good publicity...
Oh the stories I could tell about Mr B.
