He would slather your lightly toasted bagel with cream cheese, apply about an inch and a half of thinly sliced salmon, artfully apply a few sweet onion slices and sell it for the same price as a tomato sandwich. I ate there about three times a week until the owner realised what was up with the popularity of that bit of bagelry.
